This map shows the changes in per capita GDP of China, Germany, India, Japan, United Kingdom and United States of America over 308 years, that is from 1700 AD to 2008 AD. All GDP numbers are inflation adjusted to 1990 International Geary-Khamis dollars. Data Source: Tables of the late British Economist Angus Maddison (2010).
